Sandwich Bars, Deliveries & Lunchtime Snack Outlets around Hawthorn

Harp & Crown Inn

Velly Hil, Corsham, North Corsham SN13 9PU, UK – 01249 715697

Good service, with good selection of tables, ie in a nook, or more open area. The best fish and chips, and seafood dish with seasonal veg! The batter on the huge fish was the lightest and crispiest . . . Well worth it!!

Stopped en-pasant because I noticed the Cask Marque Ale Trail plaque. A very agreeable Ramsbury RPA 4% (hand crafted from plough to pint - apparently) Stockclose Farm, Wiltshire. The pub is part of the Wickwar stable and is a large establishment, no accommodation, despite its size, but lunches until 15:00 and the again in the evening.

The Quarryman's Arms

Box Hill, Corsham SN13 8HN, UK – 01225 743569

My wife and I were visitors and our b&b recommended the quarryman's arm for our evening meal. So pleased we followed the advice. What a gem in all aspects. We were made to feel very welcome and that our custom was appreciated. ,The food was exceptional and well presented. Service attentive but not pushy. Overall, the best dining out experience we have had for a long time. Thankyou. Sheila & David from Sussex

The Quarryman's was recommended to us by our B&B host, and it was simply superb. Stunning views across the valley, delicious reasonably priced food, and excellent staff. I too would highly recommend, and I would suggest booking (if possible)

The Cafe Corsham

1b High St, Corsham SN13 0ES, UK – 01249 712554

I visit the cafe at least once a week and the staff are always friendly and willing to engage in conversation, they are also patient and helpful and willing to explain the dishes on offer. Vegetarian meals can be found here also vegan ones. My latest visit was on the 16-06-18 which was the taste of Corsham event so it was busy. Reservations can be made and events can be held here. Food is always well cooked and a good selection is available. There is no disabled access as the Cafe is upstairs and due to the building a lift is not possible.

Just finished what was once again, a very delicious and cooked meal of ham, egg and chips. Everytime I visit Corsham, this is the place that I go into to have some food. Great service, not long to wait for food. Only ten minutes today, despite the busy tables. Friendly and welcoming, recommended for all. Warning: there are no lifts to get into the cafe so do watch the stairs!
